As humans, we are inherently designed to glorify God in all that we do. Every aspect of our lives should reflect honor and praise to the Lord. At DOXA, our passion for film and storytelling is fueled by this very calling. We are dedicated to creating visual narratives that not only showcase His glory but also serve as a powerful tool to spread THE Gospel. Through each project, we aim to inspire others to see and experience the goodness of God in every frame, every story, and every moment.
MEET DAvid
I was born and raised in LANCASTER, PA. After attending YOUTH WITH A MISSION IN KONA, HAWAII FOR A FEW YEARS, MY WIFE AND I MADE HOME IN THE BEAUTIFUL CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA in 2016. WE ARE CURRENTLY BUILDING OUR DREAM HOME IN THE COUNTRY WITH OUR TWO VIVACIOUS DAUGHTERS AND A COLLECTION OF HOUSEHOLD CRITTERS.
FOR THE LAST DECADE, our lives and work have BEEN ROOTED IN PHOTO & FILM. we’ve been BLESSED TO creatE WORK for A WIDE VARIETY OF PROJECTS INCLUDING missions organizations, churches, small businesses and INDIVIDUALS.
CREATIVE WORK & MISSIONS HAS LED US TO EXPLORE AND EXPERIENCE SOME OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACES IN THE WORLD: PHILIPPIANS, TURKEY, AFRICA, SOUTH AMERICA, AND MORE. REGARDLESS OF WHERE WE TRAVEL, THE MOUNTAINS OF VIRGINIA WILL ALWAYS BE ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACES ON EARTH. WE’RE THANKFUL TO SERVE THIS COMMUNITY AND CALL THIS PLACE HOME.
WHEN I’M NOT JUGGLING CAMERAS OR TODDLERS, YOU CAN FIND ME ENJOYING A HOMEMADE ESPRESSO, DIVING INTO A GOOD TV SERIES OR MOVIE, OR WORKING WITH MY HANDS OUTDOORS.
AS I’M ENTERING a new decade of creative work, i’ve sensed a deeper call to create with eternal significance. For me, the beauty of film is the connection it brings between the maker and the audience. He is the author, the maker, the true storyteller. I’m here to serve that mission and make him known.
